Job Description:
This role supports the strategic goals of Air Engineering and Supply by locating and developing new customers as well as supporting and expanding an existing customer base. Keep up to date with industry changes and updates that may impact our markets and customers. Provide excellent customer service by quickly responding to all types of customer requests follow up with the customer to ensure their satisfaction, and perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
The proper candidate for this position will understand the Fluid Power Industry and should have basic Electro-Mechanical knowledge. This candidate will be a self–starter with a high level of personal drive and a willingness to learn. An understanding of the sales process and how to develop long-term customer relationships will help to make this candidate successful. This person will have excellent customer service skills and a desire to work within a team environment. They will also have a high level of comfort with a variety of computer software packages and the ability to learn a proprietary CRM system.

Required Skills:

  • Basic Electro-Mechanical knowledge
  • 2 – 5+ years Industrial sales experience with at least 2 years in Fluid Power sales
  • Application and troubleshooting experience with Fluid Power systems
  • Experience with value added sales
  • Capability to achieve, and exceed, sales goals
  • Ability to conduct business with all levels of personnel
  • Ability to travel in an assigned territory
  • Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or Engineering, 2-year technical degree, preferably in Fluid Power or equivalent job experience
  • Project Management experience
  • Ability to assist with design using AutoCAD software
  • Previous use of a CRM system
